I do know that brain cancer has been an ugly monster in our family this last year. My step father died her in my home of a glioblastoma and my cousin who was only 18 lost a 10 year battle with brain cancer. I guess there really are no words that can sooth a mothers heart at a time like this, I think it is better to listen and let her know that she is doing all she can and remind her that she needs to take care of herself. It's funny how us mom's want to fix everything (even when we know we can't ) and put our self last in line even at the risk of our own health, these things are even truer when you are caring for a sick loved one.
