My son was like her, at every diaper change I would say he has to go potty. Then one day out of blue he wanted to wear underware and that was it. Have you tried easy ups with Pampers? Those have a dora picture, a little thicker than pull ups and I think more comfortable. My daughter prefers easy ups, even at night she won't have diaper.
