I’ve been voicing my kids blog for the past month and have come to realize that I need a voice of my own. I love the kids blog, its simple, its fun but by only writing through the eyes of a toddler I was starting to kill off brain cells that I’m sure my husband will agree I can’t afford to lose. Over the past month when posting on my kids blog there have been things that have come to mind that I’ve wanted to say but weren’t really appropriate for Internet Toddler. So, Wannabe Supermom was born.
I chose Wannabe Supermom because I am working hard to do the best I can for my family. I spend my days trying to keep from falling flat on my face while managing the house, finances, our business, taking care of the kids and the other million things that seem to pop up. I am doing everything I can to make sure that my kids are happy and well rounded. I want to do it all, I want to be Super Mom but in the reality of things I must sleep and simply can not do everything I need to get done in a day. My two year old daughter is into everything and thanks to her towering over most kids her age she can reach things and get into more trouble than she should be able to. Nothing is safe around her especially cereal boxes left out on the kitchen counter. My sweet little man is 14 months and a climber. I spend my days dragging him off of anything he can manage to get his stubby little legs up on. He has also figured out opening the doors which earlier today had me running down the sidewalk in my pj’s (my apologies and deepest sympathy to the neighbors). My slightly annoying husband is just that slightly annoying but a great guy at heart.
A few things about me that you will learn from my ramblings are that I love my kids even though there are days they have me pulling my hair out, I’m addicted to mindless reality television, I don’t cook anything that takes more than ten minutes, I no longer possess the patience to read a book and due to spending ten years in Australia I no longer can remember where I am and my spelling is all over the place. I tend to be a fairly positive person and find the lighter side of bad situations. I love to travel and have been fortunate enough to do quite a bit in my life. The one thing about me that most do not understand is my obsession with Jeep Wranglers. Its hardly a practical car but I don’t usually tend to like practical. I love it so much that I have another blog, My Family Jeep, dedicated to mine tht I love so much.
So that’s a little about me the wannabe. I’m happy that I now have an outlet for all the random thoughts rolling around in my head.
Now you just have to find the time to blog about it! =P
